ABOUT THE GAME

Block and Slash is a "Retro Reverse" action game. In the original 1985 classic, players entered dungeons to destroy spawners and massacre hordes. In this prequel, the roles are reversed: you must fortify Val-Ether Castle and prevent monsters from escaping.

The game features a unique Dark Fantasy Pop art style, blending cute "Chibi" characters with a macabre, neon-lit atmosphere for high visibility and a modern feel.

CORE LOOP

The gameplay is divided into two distinct cycles optimized for mobile play:

1. Phase 1: Preparation (60s Strategy): You have a limited inventory of 5 Ironwood Blocks and 3 Traps. Place them on the grid to create choke points and redirect the enemy flow.
2. Phase 2: Combat (Action & Survival): Once the wave starts, control your hero to eliminate enemies. But be careful: your attacks cannot pass through the walls you built!

• Victory Condition: Eliminate all enemies in the wave.
• Defeat Condition: If an enemy reaches the Princess or if your hero dies.

THE STORY

Years before the kingdom fell, the Castle of Val-Ether was a place of peace until the Légion du Fiel attacked. With King Maloric away due to a ruse, the Princess and the Mages of Rempart are left vulnerable.

You are Edrias "The Shadow Tracker," a mercenary sent as the King's last resort. Use your tactical expertise and enchanted boxes to hold the fortress until the royal army returns.
